Royals by Lorde
Heihoooo, happy new year!! I know it's so late but no problem haha. Sudah lama banget nih saya gak ngeblog. Di post saya kali ini kita bakal bahas penyanyi pendatang baru asal Negeri Kiwi alias New Zealand yaitu Lorde. Check this out:
Nama lengkapnya Ella Maria Lani Yelich-O'Connor yang pada 7 November 2013 lalu genap berusia 17 tahun, hmm masih muda banget ya tapi sukses meraih perhatian dunia lewat singlenya yang berjudul "Royals" dari album "Pure Heroine" berhasil menembus Billboard Hot 100 di tahun 2013.
Single Royals bercerita tentang remaja yang gak peduli akan hidup mewah, tidak suka party, hidup biasa nan sederhana yang mereka inginkan. Selain Lorde disukai oleh Selena Gomez ternyata Selena sering menyanyikan Royals didalam tournya. Namun, Lorde agak menjaga jarak dengan sesuatu berbau "luxurious". "Saya muak dengan para wanita seperti itu" kata-kata tersebut sepertinya merujuk kepada Selena. Walaupun mendapat tanggapan seperti itu dari Lorde, Selena tetap bijak menanggapinya "Dia tidak menyukaiku tapi aku akan teteap mendukungnya tidak peduli dia menyukaiku atau tidak karena aku pikir dia sedang melakukan hal yang hebat". Waahhh Selena bijak sekali.
Lorde menjalin hubungan percintaan dengan pria Asia asal negeri Cina bernama James Lowe. Namun sayang, banyak orang yang mengejek mereka, seperti di Twitter banyak yang memposting dengan bernada satir dan terkesan mennghina wajah James. Cinta tidak memandang fisik kan friends?! :).
